The No.1 event in Asia and the 2nd largest one over the world in the field of power transmission & control - PTC ASIA will be staged on 28 - 31 October 2013 at Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) with newly upgraded ComVac ASIA. Despite the long-period downturn of construction machinery and other manufacturing industries, several sectors of PTC ASIA 2013 still achieved a growth and industry giants will all be active participants in the show with big booths. Currently, preparations for the show have entered the stage of thorough service and the organizer has been focusing on marketing and visitor promotion. Furthermore, PTC ASIA has opened its Sina Weibo, WeChat and Linkedin Group, and is developing a mobile APP for the show, which creates a new media platform among the exhibitors, visitors and the organizer.

Several sectors rise despite the overall market recession
Since March 2011, China's construction machinery industry has been undergoing sluggish for 27 months. Affected by several factors such as over-capacity of production, macroeconomic regulation and control and export market downturn, the need of downstream market, including construction machinery, industrial furnace, machine tools, cranes, paper making equipment, printing machinery, rubber and plastic machinery, semiconductor equipment, textile machinery, woodworking machinery, photovoltaic production equipment, fans, FPD production equipment, metallurgical equipment, and many other industries, slows down and the growth of sales volume stagnates.

Nonetheless, the construction machinery industry sales have fallen sharply, but the decline is stabilized. In the long-term, with the continuous development of China's economic construction, the construction machinery industry still has a good developing momentum within the next 20 years. In the short-term, the industry is also believed to continue its steady performance in 2013 in the support of government policy. The second half of this year will be the "turning point?of the construction machinery industry. The sign of market recovery is becoming increasingly clear and there is significant sequential growth rate in purchasing orders.

Under the circumstances, as China and Asia's largest industry trade platform, PTC ASIA has again become the favorite platform to find new markets, new customers and new networks. Industry leaders such as BOSCH REXROTH, SEW, SIEMENS, ABB, NORD, BONFIGLIOLI, LENZE, EMAG, SKF, NSK, EMERSON, HYDAC, HAWE, HANSAFLEX, ATOS, GATES, NOK, CAMOZZI, PARKER, PISCO, KAWASAKI, BEKO, ATLAS COPCO, KAESER will all be active participants in the show to explore more business opportunities. With the support of industry recovery and industry leaders, PTC ASIA withstands the trend of recession and has achieved a record high display area.

The mechanical power transmission sector grows year after year and the display area reached 22,000 sqm in 2013. Leading brands like SEW, SIEMENS, ABB, NORD, BONFIGLIOLI, LENZE, EMAG, BANDO, GATES, NSK, TSUBAKI have expanded their space and some of their new products and technologies will debut onsite. WAFIOS - one of the top producers of wire and tube processing technology from Germany will showcase at fastener & spring sector of PTC ASIA for the first time, bringing its top spring coiling machine, wire bending machine, bending machine, chain machine, nail making machine, wire straightening machines and other products and technologies.

Regarding the fluid power sector, overseas exhibitors and international pavilions from Germany, Italy, USA, France, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and Turkey will make up an international display area of over 8,000 square meters. Focusing on wind energy, steel mill, shipbuilding, construction machinery, locomotive, agriculture, firefighting, chemistry, food and drink, and other user industries, HANSA-FLEX AG, the leading company for all areas of hydraulics from Germany, will showcase its hose assembly, pipe assembly and other products onsite and provide design, installation and testing of hydraulic piping system and hydraulic station (especially compact hydraulic station). CAMOZZI - the Italy's largest and world-renowned pneumatic components company will exhibit tainless steel cylinders Series 97? which is suitable for use in the off-shore, naval, pharmaceutical, automotive, printing and food industries.

It is worth mentioning that the compressed air technology sector of PTC ASIA has been officially upgraded as ComVac ASIA this year. ComVac ASIA has been approved by the board of Deutsche Messe AG as one of the worldwide events of ComVac, a sub-show of Hannover Messe. Attending ComVac ASIA will help exhibitors and visitors to share global industrial resources originating from Hannover Messe, as well as to realize the face-to-face meet with domestic and overseas professionals. Since its first edition in 2007, big names like AtlasCopco, Kaishan, Fusheng, BEKO, IngersollRand, Hanbell, Sotras, TMC, Aerzen have been giving long-term support.

New services & new media to promote in-depth communications
Currently, preparations for PTC ASIA 2013 have entered the stage of in-depth services. This year, PTC ASIA will focus on five user industries including casting machine, automobile manufacturing, petroleum machinery, plastics industry and food industry. The organizer will invite delegations and hold technical forums and sourcing events onsite. In addition, invitations of VIP buyer delegations from Korea, Japan, India, Indonesia, Turkey and other countries and regions are also in progress, in a bid to strengthen the technical and market information exchange in the Asia-Pacific region.
