In the fight against Fraud, professional information security community is facing a problem of updated and acquired competencies. The fact is the fight against Fraud is basically different from traditional challenges, faced by many years of information security services.

First practices of opposition to this evil has shown, that traditional protection reduced to outer perimeter security and required to prevent the intruder, therefore looked like a work of border guards. Wrestling with insiders or scams is more delicate work, similar to the counter intelligence activities.
As a result information security service faces with new challenges (surveillance, monitoring behavior, crime investigations, data collection and presentation of evidence, etc.).
All this facts suggest that the resistance to Fraud is a challenge to all information security community, specifics of which will be presented and discussed under this section:
- Incidents investigation;
- The fight against insiders;
- Opposition to banking and financial Fraud;
- Information security as a part of the fight against economic crime.
The leading industry event of the year - InfoSecurity Russia 2013 Exhibition will be held from September, 25-27, 2013 (Moscow, "Crocus Expo").
