Premium Chocolatier Godiva Opens in Sanlitun Village in Beijing
As one of the world's most well-known premium chocolate manufacturers, Godiva currently owns and operates over 600 retail boutiques and shops in the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia, and is available via over 10,000 speciality retailers.
Godiva also sells truffles, coffee, cocoa, biscuits, dipped fruits and sweets, chocolate liqueur, shakes, wedding and party favors and other items arranged in gift baskets.
Godiva has already opened their first story shop next to Starbucks in Sanlitun Village on November 29th 2012 in Beijing. And their second story Cafe Godiva looks like it's only a matter of days before that is up and running as well.
Starbucks opens 100th Beijing location
Starbucks opened its 100th location in Beijing on November 26th 2012, saying the coffeehouse chain is on track in its commitment to build China into its second largest market outside the U.S. by 2014. The company said it has launched a Starbucks China University, where workers can study personal and career development, as well as leadership skills and coffee craftsmanship and culture through more than 200 training modules.

Around 8% ~ 12% y-o-y growth has set China the second largest market for candies. Over 1000 billion RMB is projected on coffee consumption in China in the coming decade. These are big deals.
Whether it is small deals or big deals, the show is going to concoct them into a hot deal. To seize the opportunities, SIAL CHINA 2013 is where the game needs to start. With 7 halls (N1 - N5, E6, E7) and over 85,000 exhibition area, SIAL CHINA 2013 brings over 2,200 exhibitors and 46,000 professional visitors. As of December 2012, the organizer confirms that the show will grow another 25% confirming China as the main market to make food business in Asia!
The 14th edition specially arranges 13 product zones to exhibit highly on demand products. The Tea & Coffee, Sweet & Snacks and Chocolate World product zone has set a record of 400 exhibitors. Big players like Brazil Coffee, Swiss Chocolate, Colombian Coffee Growers Federation, Goodwell, Fabbri, Shanghai Guan Sheng Yuan have confirmed their participation.
There will be over 40 national pavilions (37 last year) in 2013 edition. Over 10 countries including France, US, Spain, Italy, South Africa, and Australia have doubled their exhibition areas.
Especially those new pavilions such as New Zealand, Singapore, Indonesia, Switzerland, Belgium, Lithuania, Columbia, Ecuador and a few others show the importance from the sweets/snacks/chocolates/coffee sectors.

For satisfying the needs of high-end Chocolate in Chinese market, we decide to strongly propagandize the high-end chocolate brands in"Chocolate World", such as COOP B.V.B.A from Belgium with their lyse, Bochilin from HongKong with their MOMAMI, and PUSI from Shanghai with their Truffles.
